SHRED PACK - What items can we shred?

If you have recently ordered a Shred Pack with Waste Paper Solutions, you may be wondering what items you can put in your shredding sacks. Below is a guide to what we can and can’t shred. Please remember that there is no need to remove staples or other fastenings from your paper, our industrial shredder will process these easily.

What can you put in your shredding sacks?

• Office paper and printer paper

• Confidential documents - insurance notes, bank statements, medical records

• Banking items - cheque books, paying in books and even bank cards

• Magazines, newsprint and books

• Posters, flyers, leaflets, business cards and other marketing material

• Carbon copy paper, X-rays and film

We cannot shred;

• Lever arch files

• Food packaging

• Polystyrene and plastic (plastic wallets and file dividers are fine)
